The softball and baseball teams each got a dub this weekend despite the bad weather canceling games.

📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Just One. The softball team competed in the Shriners Children’s Clearwater Invitational, but due to weather, only got to play two games. The Knights won one game against Wisconsin 21-9. The women had 25 hits, and this was just the third time in program history that a game has surpassed 20 runs. They also broke the program’s previous record of 22 hits.

🔼 By One. The baseball team experienced bad weather at its season opener, only playing one game against Bryant. The Knights won 12-11 after trailing 6-3 in the sixth. The men recorded eight runs in the bottom of the sixth to take the lead. Jack Zyska went 3-5 with a home run and two RBIs.

🔼 Career Bests. The men’s golf team competed in the Vystar Credit Union Gators Invitational and finished in seventh place. Egor Eroshenko put up two of the best rounds of his career on Friday. He was just one of five players to shoot under par in all three rounds, logging a 68 (-2), 66 (-4) and 69 (-1).
