📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Mission Accomplished. The women’s basketball team won its fourth annual Space U game against Colorado 74-68 on Sunday. Summer Yancy set a career-high 25 points. She is the sixth player in the Sytia Messer era to score 25 or more points. The Knights shot 40. 35% from the field.

🔼 Just Keep Running. The track and field team competed in the Jimmy Carnes Invitational this past weekend. Five Knights recorded personal records, along with four top all-time program marks. Alexandra Raquet finished fifth in the mile, recording the sixth-fastest time in program history. Three of four Knights who ran the 1,000m finished in the top 10.

🔼 Season-Opener. The No. 24 women’s tennis team opened the 2026 season with a 4-1 win over South Florida. The Knights won one doubles match and four singles matches to secure the victory.

🔼 Anotha’ One. The No. 14 men’s tennis team won its second doubleheader of the season. The Knights beat South Florida 4-0 and Mercer 5-2. UCF won seven singles matches and four doubles matches throughout the day.

Ranked Game. The men’s basketball team faced No. 1 Arizona on Saturday. The Knights played hard but fell 84-77.

🚀 ONE BIG THING

Dance Break. The cheer and dance teams competed at the 2026 College Cheerleading and Dance team National Championships this past weekend. On day one, the cheer team finished in third place in the Division IA Game Day Cheer Only category. The dance team qualified for semifinals and finished eighth in the Division IA Jazz B prelims. On day two, both the cheer and dance teams advanced through the semifinal rounds. On day three, the cheer team finished second overall. The dance team placed fifth overall.
