🔼 Beam with Pride. It’s no surprise that UCF produces great athletes. Just look at women’s soccer. For a second consecutive year, a member of the team has been drafted by the Orlando Pride. This year, that lucky member is Talia Gabarra. She was the 14th pick in the fourth round by the local NWSL club. Gabarra played in 40 matches throughout her five seasons at UCF.

🔼 Amazing Alum. The PGA selected women’s golf alum Stephanie Connelly-Eiswerth as the Women’s PGA Professional Player of the Year. She finished off 2023 with 938.83 points and is the first UCF alum to receive this prestigious award. Connelly-Eiswerth isn’t only making UCF history. She is the first woman to win a PGA Tournament Series event in its 46-year history.

🚀 Let’s Talk about it. Mike O’Donnell used to play for UCF men’s basketball back in 2005-08, and now he gets to watch and talk about the team for a living. O’Donnell is a college basketball analyst for CBS Sports and ESPN, and he spoke for 20 minutes about the Knights’ win over the Jayhawks.

🚀 Sweet Start. In the women’s basketball game against No. 24 West Virginia, Khyala Ngodu hit a career-high 12 rebounds. It was the freshman’s first career start at UCF, and she was just one point off from having a double-double.
