🎾 Tennis remains undefeated
🚀 And much, much more!

📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Quickity Split. Track and field competed at the Bob Pollock Invitational and broke some records, again, and had many personal bests, again. On day one, a group of four athletes ran the program’s fifth-fastest DMR time at 11:41.03. That group consisted of Lillian Hooltery and freshmen Abigail Stratton, Hannah Taylor and Karin Dobiasch. Paige Jaszczak ran a personal best of 18:03.64 in the 500m.

On day two, Stratton got herself in the top-10 UCF rankings. She ran a 2:10.88 in the 800m and sits in fourth place. Dobiasch now sits at 10th with her 2:11.47 time in the 800m. Ali Del Re ran a personal best of 9:58.60 in the 3000m.

🔼 Lucky #7. The men’s tennis team is perfect. That’s a fact, by the way. The Knights took down Florida 7-0 and are 5-0 overall this season. The men secured the doubles point and didn’t stop there. Victories were nonstop throughout all of the courts. Lleyton Cronje is now 5-0 this season, as he ended the weekend with a 6-3, 7-6 singles win.

🚀 ONE BIG THING

Out of This World. The women’s basketball team earned its first Big 12 conference win of the season as they took down Houston 92-87 in overtime. The Space Game was a big one, with all five starters scoring in the double-digits. Khyala Ngodu scored a career-high 25 points with 12 rebounds for her first double-double. Kaitlin Peterson led the team with 27 points.

The women scored the most points in the second quarter, putting them in the lead 44-43 at halftime. Both teams scored 16 points in the third, and then Houston earned its one point back in the fourth to tie it up. UCF dominated in overtime, scoring 14 to Houston’s nine. The Knights shot 47.5% from the field and 78.6% on the free throw line.
