🔼 Contract Extension. Baseball head coach Rich Wallace signed a contract extension that will keep him at UCF through the 2030 season. He recently led the Knights to a third-place finish in the league standings, the program’s highest in the Big 12 era, with an impressive 19-11 conference record. After securing the No. 4 seed in the Big 12 Championship, Wallace then led the Black and Gold to their second NCAA Tournament appearance in his three seasons as head coach.

🔼 Fall Ball. The baseball team announced its 2026 fall schedule. The Knights will play four games and one series. The first game is on Oct. 17 against FIU. The Knights will host the Black & Gold World Series Nov. 13-15 to end fall ball. A number of fall intrasquad scrimmages are also anticipated to be held at John Euliano Park. Dates will be announced on UCF baseball’s social media channels, and all intrasquad scrimmages will be free and open to the public.

🔼 Tourney Honors. The volleyball team had two players earn tournament honors from the Stacey Clark Classic. Avah Armour and Abby Schomers were named to the All-Tournament Team. Armour totaled a team-high 23 points throughout the weekend. She ranks seventh in points per set, averaging 4.65, and tenth in kills per set with 3.94. Schomers ranks second in assists per set within the Big 12, with an average of 10.36 assists.
