The men's basketball team beat TCU and moves onto the Big 12 Championships.

Good morning. What a game the men’s basketball team had against TCU this past weekend! The Knights will be the No. 12 seed in their first-ever Big 12 Conference Championships.

🔼 Final Dub. The men’s basketball team played its last regular season game against TCU, and boy, was it a tight one. The Knights came out with a 79-77 win, and Darius Johnson had a career-high 33 points and nine rebounds. The teams were tied 36-36 at halftime, and the Knights outscored TCU 43-41 in the second half to win the game.

🔼 Series Victory. The softball team started conference play, winning its series against Kansas with a 7-1 and 3-2 win and 0-1 loss. Sarah Willis now has a 28-scoreless inning streak after her game-one performance. The Knights had a walk-off win for game two as Stormy Kotzelnick lined into left-center field, and Chloe Evans’ double won the game. Sona Halajian, Grace Jewell and Angelina DeVoe allowed only one hit in game three, making a season-low for the Knight’s pitching staff.

🔼 Can’t Stop. The men’s tennis team won its fifth straight match this season after beating Wichita State 4-1. The men secured the doubles point and won three singles matches. The Knights also took down Tulsa 4-3. Liam Branger clinched the series with his singles victory over Volodymyr Zakharov. The men won four singles sets to come back and beat Tulsa.

🔼 Tight Win. The women’s tennis team broke a three game losing streak and beat TCU 4-3.

Final Run. The indoor season is officially over, and Rayniah Jones had a great finish. Jones competed in the NCAA Indoor Championships and earned her eighth career All-America honor. She ran an 8.78 and finished 18th.
