Space U Brew 3/2: Softball Wins 5
The softball team won five games this past weekend.
Good morning, Knights. The softball team is 20-4 so far this season! This marks the team’s second-best start in program history.

📈 STOCK UP
🔼 Champ Recap. The track and field team wrapped up the Big 12 Championship. Jazmen Newberry won bronze in the 400m. The distance squad capped a long season of growth in fitting fashion, placing eighth in the distance medley relay to earn the program’s first-ever Big 12 medal in a distance event. The combined efforts of Lexi Raquet, Genelle Stephens, Raquel Edwards, and Kendall Hughes earned an 11:31.86 mark, good for second in program record books.
🔼 Finale. The women’s basketball team beat Houston on the road 72-62. This marked the team’s final game of the regular season. Khyala Ngodu secured her third 20-point double-double of the season. Kristol Ayson scored a season-high 16 points. The Knights wrap up the regular season 11-18 overall and 3-15 in conference play. They will play Kansas on Wednesday in the first round of the Big 12 Tournament.

🚀 ONE BIG THING
Charge On. The softball team finished the Charge On Classic this past weekend. After two wins on Thursday against Dartmouth, the Knights beat Wagner 9-1 on Friday. UCF went on to beat George Washington 5-1 and Florida A&M 21-2 on Saturday.
