🔼 He’s Back. The football team has named Scott Frost as the next head coach. Frost signed a five-year contract through the 2029 season. He originally served as UCF’s head coach from 2016-17, culminating in a historic 13-0 season, an AAC championship and a national championship. He posted the greatest two-year turnaround in college football history at UCF.
🔼 3 in a Row. The men’s basketball team has a three-game win streak after a 66-51 victory over Tarleton. The Knights now have a 10-game win streak of regular-season non-conference home games. Jordan Ivy-Curry led the team with 16 points, while Darius Johnson and Moustapha Thiam each had 10.
🔼 Anotha’ One. The women’s basketball team beat Texas Southern 93-87. Kaitlin Peterson led the team with a career-high 39 points. She made a career-high 15 field goals and six three-pointers, marking the most points by a player in the Big 12 Conference this season.

Best of the Best. The Greater Orlando Sports Commission held the 2024 SPORTYS. The event honors sports business professionals whose contributions and impacts make Greater Orlando one of the country’s premier sports destinations.

🚀 ONE BIG THING
Season Awards. The United Soccer Coaches named Chloe Netzel to the 2024 NCAA Division I Women’s All-Midwest Region Second Team. This is her third All-Region recognition of her career. She led the Knights in nearly every offensive category. Netzel also led the Big 12 Conference in many offensive categories.
