Good morning, Knights. The men’s tennis team is hosting the first and second rounds of the NCAA Tournament! No. 15 UCF secured its third consecutive at-large bid to the event. The men are the No. 16 seed. They will play South Carolina St. on Friday at 5pm ET.

📈 STOCK UP 

🔼 Tourney Ready. The No. 20 women’s tennis team was selected to play in the NCAA Tournament for the 11th time in program history. UCF will travel to Raleigh for their regional round matches. They will pay Navy on Friday at 2pm ET.

🔼 Best Arm. Baseball player Camden Wicker was named the Big 12 Conference Co-Pitcher of the Week. Wicker tossed a seven-inning complete-game shutout en route to leading the Knights to a 10-0 run-rule victory at Utah on Saturday. With the victory, Wicker is now 4-2 on the season with a 3.50 ERA. He also leads the team in strikeouts with 48 and innings pitched with 54.0.

🔼 Top 10. The men’s golf team played the third round of the Big 12 Championship. UCF has a team score of 850 (+10) and is in eighth place. Lucas Dutartre and Hans Risvaer are tied for 20th place individually. They each have a score one over par.

Free Agents. The football team had five players sign as free agents and one invited to a training camp after the NFL Draft. Five-year Knight offensive tackle Paul Rubelt is staying in the state of Florida as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers signed him to an undrafted free agent deal. Edge rusher Nyjalik Kelly and running back Jaden Nixon agreed to deals with the Green Bay Packers. Running back Myles Montgomery earned a nod with the New England Patriots. Linebacker Keli Lawson was signed by the Minnesota Vikings. Additionally, kicker Noe Ruelas earned an invitation to training camp with the Indianapolis Colts.
