🔼 Victory! The women’s soccer team beat Florida 4-3 on Opening Knight. Naomi Clark led the team with two goals. Gabi Berchon and Ella Holloran each scored as well. Kaïna Cesar had five saves in goal. The Knights travel to play #16/17 LSU next Thursday!

🔼 Triple Threat. The men’s soccer team had three players named to Sun Belt Conference honors. Matisse Hébert was named the Preseason Goalkeeper of the Year. He spent the last two seasons with the Wisconsin Badgers where he earned 13 wins on a .656 save percentage. Takahiro Fujita was named the Preseason Defender of the Year. In his three seasons at Marshall, he scored four goals and had five assists. Jem Hewlett earned a spot on the Preseason Team. Last season, he competed in 20 of UCF’s 21 matches, scoring a pair of goals and adding his first career assist while totaling 12 shot attempts and four on goal.
