Good morning, Knights. The kickoff time is set for this weekend’s football game!

What all do we have stirring in today’s Brew? Check it out below!

🏀 OT dub
🏀 The Dean brothers
🚀 And much, much more!

🔼 Victory! The men’s basketball team beat FGCU 96-95 in overtime in its season opener on Monday night. Dior Johnson led the team with 41 points. That is the fourth most points scored by a UCF player since joining D1, the most by a player in an opener under Coach Johnny Dawkins, his 5th consecutive game with 20+ points and Johnson tied his career high with four three-pointers. UCF is now 9-1 in season-openers at home under Dawkins.

Hometown Hero. Friday night’s OUC Hometown Hero of the Game was Dr. Daniel Windish.

A three-time UCF graduate and long-time season ticket holder, Dr. Windish began working for OCPS when he was 18 and has been supporting students, teachers and school leaders for more than ## years.
