🔼 Weekly Honor. Men’s basketball player Riley Kugel was named to the Big 12 Starting Five. The senior paced the Knights with 19 points in the team’s win over then-No. 17 Kansas. So far, he leads the Knights with 183 total points, while shooting 40.5% from the field.

🔼 Road Game. The No. 25 men’s basketball team faced Oklahoma State for its first road Big 12 game of the season. The men led the game with 35 rebounds and 15 assists, but fell 87-76. Four players were in double digits, with Riley Kugel leading with 15. Devan Cambridge had a double-double of 11 points and 11 rebounds.

Welcome! The football team started communicating with athletes in the transfer portal. Alonza Barnett III is a quarterback the Knights picked up. Barnett recently played at James Madison. He was named the Sun Belt Conference Player of the Year in his redshirt junior season in 2025. Barnett has 5,433 career passing yards with 49 touchdowns through the air. He also has 1,075 rushing yards and 23 touchdowns on the ground.
