Good morning. The Phillips Big 12 Baseball Championship is being held in Globe Life Field, and they made a special meal in honor of the Knights: A Texas Chili Foot-Long Hot Dog piled high with warm sliced ham, juicy pulled pork and melted Swiss cheese and topped with a spicy mayo.

🔼 First Dub. The baseball team went into 11 innings to beat Cincinnati 6-5 for its first win in the Big 12 Conference tournament. Danny Neri was hot at the plate as he homered in the second, seventh and eleventh inning. He broke the 5-5 tie with the go-ahead home run in the top of the 11th. The Knights will play game two on Thursday at 8:30 p.m. against either Oklahoma State or Texas.

🔼 Big Award. The Big 12 conference named Dom Stagliano to the All-Big 12 Second Team. Stagliano is a right-handed pitcher who struck out 60 batters over 66 innings of work. He limited opposing hitters to a .190 batting average. Stagliano is ranked 16th nationally and third in the league with a .98 WHIP.

Handful of Honors. The Big 12 conference named five Knights to the All-Big 12 Honorable Mentions. Dominic Castellano holds a perfect 5-0 record on the mound and leads the team in opposing batting average, limiting hitters to just a .160. Chase Centala holds a 3-0 record with seven saves. Kyle Kramer leads the Knights with 29 appearances and seven wins. Danny Neri has a .278 batting average and holds eight extra-base hits, 21 RBIs and 23 runs scored. Matt Prevesk had 76 hits on a .360 batting average to rank him fourth in the conference in both categories.
