🔼 Trio of Honors. The Big 12 named three Knights to Preseason honors— KJ Jefferson, Kobe Hudson and Lee Hunter. Jefferson spent five years at Arkansas before coming to UCF. He set program records in Arkansas with 626 completions, 65.1 completion percentage, 7,911 passing touchdowns and 88 total touchdowns. Hudson had 44 receptions for 900 yards last season. Hunter recorded 69 tackles to lead all defensive tackles in the nation.

Brainiacs. The Big 12 named 86 UCF student-athletes to the 2024 Spring Academic Team. There were 76 who earned first-team honors with a 3.2 GPA or better. Rowing had 27 student-athletes selected, and softball had 16.
