🔼 Watch Him. Running back Jaden Nixon was named to the 2025 Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award Watch List. This is his fourth preseason honor this season. The award recognizes the nation’s top offensive player with Texas ties who exemplifies the enduring characteristics of Hall of Famer Earl Campbell: integrity, performance, teamwork, sportsmanship, community, and, above all, tenacity.

🔼 Mark the Calendar! The men’s tennis team released the 2025 fall schedule. The Knights will open the season on Sept. 20 at the ITA All-American Championships. The final fall competition is the NCAA Individual Championship on Nov. 18-23.

Duo Threat. Football players Cam Fancher and John Walker have been named to the 2025 Comeback Player of the Year Preseason Watch List. The award recognizes student-athletes who have overcome injury, illness or other life challenges. Fancher had a season-ending injury in 2024. Walker suffered an injury before the start of his sophomore campaign.
