🔼 Advancing. The women’s tennis team beat Kansas 4-2 in the first round of the Big 12 Championships. The Knights won the doubles point and three singles matches to secure the victory. The women will play Oklahoma State in the quarterfinals at 6 p.m. ET tonight.

🔼 Shut Out! The softball team beat Florida Atlantic 1-0, and Kaitlyn Felton was a beast on the mound. Felton only allowed Florida Atlantic one hit. The Knights have won 10 straight games and six straight Big 12 games, both being the longest active win streaks in the Big 12. Jada Cody is now the program’s all-time career doubles leader with 51 after her hit in the bottom of the first inning.

Weekly Awards. The Big 12 Conference named Sarah Willis and Ashleigh Griffin to this week’s weekly honors. Willis earned Pitcher of the Week, and Griffin earned Player of the Week. This is the third time Willis has earned a weekly award in her career. She threw a team-leading 11 innings throughout the Knights’ four games last weekend and 10 strikeouts. Griffin went 6-for-10 at the plate against Houston and hit three home runs.
