The softball team had its first Big 12 Conference sweep over BYU.

🔼 Sweep! The softball team won its series against BYU 3-0. The Knights won 3-2, 9-4 and 5-4 in extra innings. Sarah Willis notched her fourth start consisting of a seven-inning complete game and three or fewer hits allowed. Jada Cody tied the UCF all-time career doubles record in game two. The Knights made history when they won game three of the series, making it the program’s first Big 12 sweep.

🔼 Senior Win. The men’s tennis team put on a show at home of its Senior Night match against BYU. The Knights won 4-3, coming back to win four singles matches after dropping the doubles point. Paul Colin won his first collegiate win on court three and his second clinch of the season.

🔼 Series Dub. The baseball team faced Kansas State and won 7-4, lost 4-3 and won 6-1. Lex Boedicker went 4-for-5 with six RBIs in the first win of the series. Dominic Castellano was the star of game three, where his relief pitching shut down the Wildcats. Castellano struck out a career-high eight batters over a career-long 5.2 innings.

🚀 ONE BIG THING
Being the Best. The track and field team had many athletes set personal bests at the Hurricane Alumni Invitational. On day one, Natalie Madison had a personal record in the 200m at 24.52. She also finished in seventh place in the shot put with an 11.82m throw. On day two, the multis squad had three top-10 finishes. Y’Vette Harris made her way into the program record book in sixth place for her 5076 score in the heptathlon.
