The Big 12 Conference named rowing coach Mara Allen the Coach of the Year.

🔼 Leader. The Big 12 Conference named UCF rowing coach Mara Allen the Coach of the Year. This was only her second season at the helm. She led the team to several first-place finishes at multiple regattas. Allen led the team to the NCAA Championships for the first time since 2019.
🔼 Newbie. Rower Lucy Buckingham was named the Newcomer of the Year by the Big 12 Conference. She has been part of the top boat all season. The crew received back-to-back Boat of the Week titles this spring.

Top Rower. The Big 12 Conference named Hannah Lovejoy the Rower of the Year. She rowed within the top boat all season. Lovejoy was in the bow seat of the First 8+ at the Big 12 Championship, where the crew recorded the fastest time of the season.
