Space U Brew 4/6: Baseball Upsets No. 11 West Virginia
The baseball team won its series against No. 11 West Virginia.

📈 STOCK UP
🔼 On the Diamond. The No. 23 baseball team won its series opener against No. 11 West Virginia 5-0. Andrew Williamson hit out two home runs and the bullpen tossed eight scoreless innings. The Knights fell in game two 11-10. UCF won the series after a 5-1 victory on Sunday. Camden Wicker threw 7.0 innings, allowed just one run on three hits and struck out a season-high six batters. Williamson hit a home run and went 2-for-3 at the plate. The series marked UCF’s first ranked vs. ranked series win since 2017.
🔼 Series Win. The No. 21 softball team clinched the series win against Utah with a 9-1 run-rule win on Friday. Sierra Humphreys hit a homer and went 3-for-3 at the plate. Isabella Vega collected her 14th win of the season on the mound. Game three of the series ended in a 2-2 tie after nine innings and close to four hours of play. The game ended due to Utah’s drop dead time.

🔼 Celebration Time. The No. 19 women’s tennis team beat Kansas State 4-1 on Friday. The women secured their second consecutive undefeated season at the UTSA National Campus. UCF won the doubles point and three singles matches.

🔼 Just Keep Rowing. The rowing team competed at the Ohio State Invite. On day one, the Knights went four-for-four. On day two, UCF claimed first place finishes in all of the races. This marks the team’s third consecutive sweep of the season.

🚀 ONE BIG THING

On Track. The No. 16 track and field team competed at the Florida Relays. Alexandra Raquet captured the 5,000m title. Kendall Hughes finished third in the 1,500m run. Toni Galloway finished fourth in the 100m hurdles. Across the two days of competition, seven Knights turned in PR’s and four are in the all-time record books.
