🔼 Watch Him. Football quarterback Alonza Barnett III was named to the Maxwell Award Watch List. The Maxwell Award has been presented to the College Player of the Year since 1937 and is named in honor of Robert “Tiny” Maxwell who was a former standout at Swarthmore College and a renowned sportswriter and football official. After leading James Madison to the College Football Playoff in 2025, Barnett joins the Knights out of the transfer portal for his final season of collegiate football.

Dylan Wade hauled in 43 catches for ### yards and five touchdowns in 2025, all career highs.

🔼 High Five! The men’s golf team had five players named 2025-26 Cobalt Golf All-America Scholars. Lucas Dutartre, Camden Goldknopf, Jakub Hejlek, Hans Risvaer and Clemente Silva were selected. To be eligible for the award, athletes must compete in at least 50% of their teams competitive rounds, have a stroke average under 76.0 in NCAA Division I and maintain a cumulative career GPA of 3.2. Recipients must be a sophomore, junior or senior in NCAA Division I, II, III and NAIA or receiving their associate degree and in their last year of athletic eligibility in the NJCAA.
