🔼 Handful of Honors. The College Sports Communicators named five Knights to the Academic All-District and All-America teams. Shannon Doherty, Jada Cody, Kaitlyn Felton, Ashleigh Griffin and Chloe Evans were all recognized for their excellence in the classroom and on the field. Each Knight had at least a 3.50 GPA.
🔼 Game Day Stats. The baseball team will play in the NCAA Tournament today against Alabama. The Knights are in the third seed, and Alabama is in the second. The Knights are coming in hot with a No.33 ranking in RPI. This will be the 13th time in program history that UCF and Alabama play each other. Currently, the series is tied at 6-6.

One of Few. The U.S. Women’s Open Golf Championship has begun, and Pimpisa Sisutham is one of a few amateurs to be qualified. Overall, there are 146 players.

Tee Time. One women’s golfer began play in the 79th U.S. Women’s Open on Thursday. Pimpisa Sisutham made her debut appearance at the tournament. She is in a group with Alexandra Forsterling of Germany and LPGA of Japan member Sora Kamiya. After two rounds of play, a cut will be made of the top 60 players.
