🔼 New Knight. Freshman midfielder Finn Calloway will be on the men’s soccer 2025 roster. Calloway already made his professional debut with a pair of appearances in the U.S. Open Cup in April 2024 and March 2025. He was signed to a USL Academy contract in January 2024 after winning a state championship with Mountain Brook High School in 2022 and earning a First Team All-Metro selection

🔼 In The Dugout. Baseball head coach Rich Wallace has added to his coaching staff, announcing the addition of Shane Gierke as an assistant coach. Gierke brings a wealth of coaching experience to UCF, as he has 20-plus years of collegiate coaching experience under his belt. He comes to Orlando after spending the past four seasons (2022-25) at neighboring foe Stetson, where he most recently served as the Hatters’ associate head coach and recruiting coordinator.

Newbie. The men’s soccer team added Mateus Dejesus to the 2025 roster. He previously signed a USL Academy deal with the Tampa Bay Rowdies in July 2024.

Anotha’ One. The men’s soccer team welcomes Jem Hewlett to the 2025 roster. Hewlett is a freshman defender who recently played on the U18 Premier League and Premier League 2 teams. In 49 combined games, he scored six goals and added a pair of assists.
