🔼 Double Duty. Women’s basketball head coach Gabe Lazo added Josh Theis to the staff. Theis will be an assistant coach and video coordinator. Theis served as the director of video and creative content at Tennessee for the past five seasons, which followed two years as a graduate assistant with the Lady Vol program.

New Staff. The women’s basketball team has a new assistant coach. Bett Shelby will join the UCF staff for the upcoming season under Gabe Lazo. Shelby has been one of the nation’s top recruiters as numerous Power Four programs. Shelby was an assistant at SMU, following first-year head coach Adia Barnes after a successful three years at Arizona.
