🔼 Two More. The baseball team had two more Knights drafted in the 2026 MLB Draft. Braden Smith was selected in the 15th round as the No. 440 overall pick by the Baltimore Orioles. He had eight starts at UCF, went 3-1 with a 6.21 ERA and over 33.1 innings of work. John Smith III was chosen in the 19th round as the No. 570 overall pick by the New York Mets. He led the Knights with 49 RBIs, had 65 hits, 12 home runs, 13 doubles, one triple and 40 runs scored last season. Camden Wicker signed a free-agent contract with the Baltimore Orioles.
