📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Preseason Award. Baseball players Chandler Dorsey and Evan Jones were named to the NCBWA Stopper of the Year Preseason Watch List. A total of 104 players have been named to the award that recognizes the top relief pitcher in NCAA Division I Baseball. Dorsey is a senior transfer from LSU and Jones is a redshirt junior from Western Kentucky.

🔼 Anotha’ Win. The softball team beat Missouri 5-1 on Wednesday. The Knights had seven hits and four RBI’s. Hildie Dempsey earned the win on the mound after she pitched 3.2 innings, allowing only two hits and striking out one batter. Sierra Humphreys and Beth Damon each hit home runs.

Fresh Moves. Softball player Ava Stuewe has been named the Big 12 Conference Freshman of the Week. Stuewe made three appearances, including two starts at the Black & Gold Classic last weekend. She posted a spotless 0.00 ERA in 5.2 innings with six strikeouts.
